Revelation

Friends and family show support for a COVID-positive person with flowers and food, but what they really need is mental stimulation to stay occupied.

Provocation

What if we created care packages that included multi-sensory tools to uplift and engage those in quarantine?

Idea

CareBox UAE partnered with 22 local businesses to create custom-branded products in a range of multi-sensory gift box sets

We created 7 boxes, each focused for different interests. For example, Craft box for art-enthusiasts, Mindfulness box for those interested in self-help, Balance box for the busy workaholics and limited edition Ramadan box for those interested in being more spiritual and present in the moment.

Every aspect of the box had unique elements that increased engagement and excitement amongst recipients. In addition to each of the multi-sensory products, the card had a QR code with Spotify playlists and a video from the sender, the gift wrapping paper doubled as a word-search and the box became a reusable storage piece.

BRANDING

This logo has a double meaning. The smiley face indicates the joy of having the company of mindful products during quarantine, and the hug symbolizes the innate desire of every sender to physically be there for their loved ones.

EVERY ASPECT OF CAREBOX HAS A USE

Impact

CareBox UAE became a unique gesture of support amongst loved ones and received raving reviews from 200+ recipients.

Beyond COVID, CareBox UAE started to receive orders for gifts for patients undergoing surgery and bedrest, as well as, for those seeking more mindfulness in their daily routine.

The Lavender and Bergamot infused homemade therapy dough has found its own set of customers, primarily working professionals and parents who continue to purchase the product and recommend through word of mouth.
